Monty - wire haired terrier

Monty is available for adoption. Please fill out our application if you are interested in him. He is a lover with people and gets along with the majority of dogs. He weighs about 30 pounds and is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and tired of waiting for his forever home to find him.

Autumn Acres is a small no kill animal rescue located an hour north of Kansas City. Autumn Acres became a 501c3 organization in 2004 and we have been saving dogs ever since. In 2011 we were able to get a small kennel building built. The building houses 10-14 dogs and has air conditioning and heating available. We have a few foster parents in the Kansas City area and we are always looking for more!

There are many ways to help a rescue group out. We commonly take in hard to place dogs and they require more time, training, and medical costs to find homes. As such their adoption fee's do not even begin to cover the costs on each dog. We need donations to cover the costs associated with the long-term care provided for the rescue dogs. We usually have 2-4 dogs boarding at A Dogs Fun Playce and we need dedicated people to go and walk the dogs. Even just taking them on a car ride to give them some one on one time is much appreciated!

There is an adoption event held in Olathe each Saturday and Sunday...if we can find volunteers to pick up and drop off the dogs at the events and then bring them back to A Dogs Fun Playce that would be GREAT. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity PLEASE contact Jenifer.
