Bo

Bo is not actually in our program...he is still with his owner...the bio below is what she has submitted about him. Please consider Bo! "Bo" is a 2-year-old golden lab mix-we got him from a high-kill animal shelter, so what he's Mix with is totally unknown. He hasn't had a single accident inside, never barks, and ran up and jumped right onto my bed when it was time to go to sleep and slept straight through the night. He still needs a little work to stop from sniffing everything on leash, but if you are looking for a running or jogging partner, he is great, as he jogs along right at your side. He's obviously either extremely smart or has had an owner in the past, because he gets right off the couch when you ask him to, hasn't chewed a single thing even though we have stuff laying around everywhere, and learned "sit" in about 5 minutes, and will sit like a champ every time. When I was looking for a dog, Bo's temperament and personality is all I would've wanted and more. His ONLY flaw is not his fault-he's a big boy who deserves a big yard and a playmate his size. We have a small house with no backyard, and I am simply afraid as school starts up, between that, my job, and my sorority, I will no longer have the time to spend with him that he deserves. He shares the house right now with a small Shih Tzu, and although his over-excitement annoys her, he is very friendly toward other dogs. Bo is up-to-date on all vaccines and heartworm preventatives, and is also microchipped and neutered.
