Alfredo, what kind of name is that for a little American Eskimo? It's the name that the Kansas City Pet Project gave him when he came in and it's the name that has stuck with him since. Apparently when animal control found this sweet and timid boy he was in such poor shape that they thought his chain collar was embedded into his neck. Luckily that was not the case and once they got him cleaned up they found that it was matted hair that was holding the collar onto him. Alfredo was also heartworm positive and had to go through that dangerous and life threatening treatment. He has recovered and is now a thriving boy. Alfredo loves to be petted, and that's a good thing since he has such soft and fluffy fur that you just want to pet him. He can still be timid, especially with people he doesn't know…that is something that will likely always be a part of him. He's ready to transition to his forever home. Can you be that home? Alfredo is about 5 years old and he is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and was treated for heartworms. Alfredo's adoption fee is $150. When you adopt a dog from Autumn Acres Animal Rescue we offer a 10 day trial period, if he doesn't work out you can return him and get his adoption fee returned, but we also offer a LIFETIME safety net. If for any reason at anytime in the future you can no longer keep Alfredo he is to be returned to us. Interested in meeting him? Please fill out our adoption application. Alfredo is housebroken. Alfredo is crate trained. Alfredo has been cat tested with a dog friendly cat and he did fine. Alfredo has been introduced to other dogs and does fine. He is currently living with multiple dogs and doing fine.Alfredo is timid of new people, he would not want to go to a home with constant guests in and out. Alfredo appears to be a purebred American Eskimo. Alfredo is ready for a new home.
