Update: Blossom is housetrained and comes inside to sleep at night and parts of the days now. Her perfect home will be in the country where she can come inside and be outside as she pleases BECAUSE she is an escape artist. She can climb 6' fences and jumps the 4 1/2 foot fence we have around the property. She does not chew up anything when in the house or during the night. She has now stayed inside even when no one is home and does fine, doesn't chew up things or have accidents. Blossom is just about a year old and is a great country dog. She is fine with the horses but does have herding instincts...if I'm out there in the round pen running a horse she'll come up to nip at the heels. She's good at catching rodents outside. She finds holes and digs up the moles, mice, etc. I haven't seen her catch a rabbit yet but she does chase them through the pasture and whines as she runs by. She can be loose outside on the farm and never wanders off. She's also quite a little guard dog and will growl/bark at strangers(which you are when you first visit). She weighs about 30 pounds, has a curly tail and is black and white. She is spayed and current on shots. Her adoption fee is $100.December 28, 2010, 1:16 pm
