Duke is a young male whose life motto is PLAYTIME. He loves to play and can play rough. He loves toys and is a happy go lucky boy. However, he lost a leg due to being stuck in a storm drain for a couple days in the heat of the summer with a lead tied around his leg thus cutting off the blood supply to the foot. This caused nerve damage that has to be ulitimately fixed via amputation. The shelter he was in TRiED to save his leg but it just wasn't meant to be.. He is NOT disabled so and we don't want to tell him he is either, :-). Duke is housebroken, neutered and microchipped. His age is between 18 months to 3 yrs. The adoption fee is: $300 and includes the vaccines, heartworm test (if the animal is over 6 months of age), spaying/neutering, microchip, and deworming. Currently is in foster in the KC area.Autumn Acres is a no kill animal rescue. When we have space, we take in all breeds and all types of dogs.
