Faith is a special girl. She REQUIRES a fenced yard that has direct access to it from the house. She is not a leash walking dog. Some kind of trauma in her past is affecting her to this day. She's been in our program for a few years and we've had some very skilled trainers work with her and foster her. None were able to break past her total fear of leashes.
She has made quite a bit of progress about being in a house and warming up to strangers in their home. She adjusts to her new home pretty quickly and will seek affection from her people. She's good with cats but she can be jealous of other dogs at times.
Faith requires special handling to get her in and out at first. Yards are scary and for some reason she prefers to go outside after dark frequently. This is something that shouldn't be encouraged (unless you're a night owl and don't need sleep at night lol).
Faith is beautiful. Fun. Sweet. Affectionate, and Brave. Even though she's fearful, she's been abused, hurt, she looks past that fear and bonds to new people, follows people around, loves attention, and tries to be a good girl.
Faith needs a home willing to accept her for as she is and help her to become a part of your family. Can you give her the time and stability she needs?
