Frank

Frank is a 10 year old shepherd mix around 35lbs. He loves to hang out at home with his family, go on walks, and lay in the sun. After one of his owners passed away, his remaining owner is unable to support him and some of his behavioral challenges alone. Namely, he is reactive towards new people in the home and on walks (especially kids) - barking and being anxious until he's familiar enough with them to settle down. Frank currently lives in a home with a young child and is very gentle with the familiar child, but he gets scared and barks at visiting/unfamiliar children. He will need a patient and experienced owner to support him, but he's otherwise a well trained, healthy, loving, and fun dog ready to spend his later years in a supportive home.
