Hi everyone. My name is Keira. I am a 10 year old Shepherd Mix lady. I was taken in my animal control because my last parent's didn't keep proper housing for me. :( Not good, especially in a harsh winter like the midwest has. The sweet lady that rescued me said I stuck out to her because of how calm I was. I was in a shelter with 200+ barking dogs and all I wanted was to watch the humans go by and wait for a belly rub. Luckily, this amazing woman did notice me and gave me a good pet. And now I am out of that shelter and waiting for my furever home! I am currently in a wonderful foster home and doing well with their little dog and their big dog. I really do love dogs...AND PEOPLE! I want so much to belong to a family who will care for me and love me for the rest of my time. Please come make me an addition to your family. The adoption fee is: $150 (SENIOR DOG SPECIAL! $75!!) and includes the vaccines, heartworm test (if the animal is over 6 months of age), spaying/neutering, microchip, and deworming. Autumn Acres is a no kill animal rescue. When we have space, we take in all breeds and all types of dogs. We rely on foster homes and donations in order to keep being able to help the animals.
