King

King is a senior German Shepherd with plenty of life, love, and personality. He is playful, active, and incredibly affectionate, and he truly enjoys being close to his people. King loves attention, being pet, and spending time with those he trusts. He grew up around children, but at this stage in life he would likely be happiest in a calm home with mostly adult interaction where he can relax, feel secure, and soak up lots of love. King has done well with other dogs, especially smaller dogs, and tends to be easygoing in familiar settings. One of his sweetest traits is how much he loves stuffed animals—he carries them around like they are his little “babies,” which says so much about his gentle and loving nature.
