Neptune

Neptune was found abandoned in a rural area with his sister and brother. We believe these pups were on their own for quite some time before they were spotted by some farmers. The family who found them took their time to feed them and try to win their trust. Unfortunately these pups were so leery that they almost froze to death before getting caught. Neptune was the most willing to trust. They were able to grab him and he went to a temporary home. He has decided he loves people! Occasionally he'll get scared and curl up somewhere but for the most part he just adores affection and seeks out more and more pets. These pups have food aggression towards other dogs. They were on their own in the country and somehow survived. I'm sure they came across coyotes and dogs that were protecting their properties. Neptune is pretty friendly with other dogs, and more submissive towards bossy ones. He will guard his food bowls though, so needs to be fed separately from other dogs. Neptune will be getting neutered/vetted next week and be able to go to a home after that. His adoption fee is $200.
