Newton

Hi! My Name Is Newton

We're happy to tell you that Newton has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Isaac and Newton are siblings. They were born on Dec. 23rd. They are pretty and very social pups. They are neutered, and have had their DHLPP, rabies and bordatella shots. They are now crate trained. The boys went to my rescue partner's work place, a dog daycare/boarding place. She isn't fond of Newfs. but liked these boys. If you are interested in adopting one of these boys (or both), please apply here; http://members.petfinder.org/~KS87/application.html Here's what my rescue partner said about these two boys last month; I brought Isaac and Newton to my work(they are such pretty brown and white newfs) and these 2 are very good dogs. I'm not a newf fan...I'm not into the drool. These 2 do drool but they are quite smart and have wonderful temperments. Within 1 day at my work(Doggie Daycare) they learned the routine. These 2 pups had not been in a crate before...after the first time they went into a crate they learned which crates are theirs and willingly go into their crates when it is lockup time. They aren't overly active(in fact for 7 month old pups they are downright lazy) but they will wrestle with each other and other dogs. The one with more white on his chest likes to go up to another dog and roll his head around while he barks at them...then just lays down and looks at the dog. Its cute to watch. You can see pictures of them on our webpage. If I could stand the drool I would adopt one of these guys in a heartbeat...in all of the newf pups we've had over the past year, in my opinion, these guys are the most newf like in attitude and behavior. I would love for them to find a home where they will be appreciated for their attitudes and temperment...where someone who knows newfs knows what a special dog these are. December 28, 2010, 1:16 pm
