Saint is 1-2 years old and a rescued cocker spaniel. He is from a breeding kennel but isn't as shy as most puppy mill rescues we've done, but it still shy with new people. It only takes about 3 days for him to come up to you if you hold out your hand. He is ok with other dogs but can guard his food bowl from the other dogs and will guard treats he has been given. For those reasons we think he would be best as an only dog. He doesn't guard from people, just other dogs. He seems to be fine with 8+ yr kids and loves to be petted. He has been groomed and is quite a handsome boy. We are starting to work on his housetraining. He has been neutered, heartworm tested, and vaccinated.
